Training Program
Introduction
CGWS regularly conducts training programs at its own premises and also at the offices / premises of organisations, government departments. Engineers, Scientists, NGOs, Nirman Sahayaks (GP) and other interested for training on Sustainable Ground Water Supply and Management may feel free to contact us.
Past Training Programs
1. A training programme on ‘Ground Water Based Drinking Water Supply Scheme’ was conducted jointly by CGWS and IWWA, Kolkata Centre in the “Training Hall” of CGWS Centre started from 20th June, 2016 and continued till 13th July, 2016 with a total 72 trainees (Assistant Engineers of Public Health Department, GoWB) in four scheduled groups.
2. A Training Programme on “Ground Water based Drinking Water Supply Scheme” was conducted on 4th Nov, 2016 at ATI, Salt Lake jointly by CGWS and IWWA, Kolkata Centre for Nirman Shayaks of Panchayat & Junior Engineers of PHED. Experts of CGWS & IWWA delivered lectures to the participants. The subjects dealt with include different aspects of ground water based drinking water- their hydrology, hydrogeology, quality, pollution & remedial measures, conservation and awareness generation. The lectures were delivered in Bengali and the Training programme module was published in Bengali. In all 78 participants attended the training programme.
