A national Seminar was also organized on ‘Water Conservation and Groundwater Recharging for Effective Health Insurance’ sponsored by UNICEF, Kolkata. (2007)
A Workshop on ‘Ground Water Based Water Supply-Perspective, Challenges & Beyond’ in collaboration with Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWBM), at IISWBM, Kolkata on 31st July, 2013 was organized. The Workshop was attended by 200 delegates from Government, Non-Government, Private Sector Organisation, Universities associated with Groundwater. A Journal containing all the Papers was also released on the same day. (2013)
An International Seminar on “Challenges to Ground Water Management: Vision 2050” at ITC Sonar, Kolkata on 13th-14th November, 2015 was organised. A total of 150 numbers of delegates from India and abroad participated and eight Hydrogeologist were felicitated for life time achievements in the field of Hydrogeology. Proceedings of the Seminar containing technical papers, keynote address and theme address was published. (2015).
The Centre for Ground Water Studies – organised a Brain Storming Session on “Water Resources of Eastern (West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand) and North-Eastern States of India” held on 8-9 June, 2018 at Dr. Meghnad Saha Auditorium, CSIR-CGCRI, Jadavpur, Kolkata-700032
Centre for Ground Water Studies, Kolkata was organized an International Seminar on “Impacting Groundwater by Climate Change, Mining, Urban Mining and Chemical Contamination – Successful Mitigation Solutions” on 3rd & 4th January, 2024 at Hyatt Regency, Kolkata.
More than 130 delegates for various University, Intuitions and Govt. Organisation participated. Our clients are PHED, Govt. of West Bengal, DST, Central Govt., Ministry of Earth Science , Tata Power, Sasan Power, Electrosteel Castings Limited and many others organisation.
